POST 8 : A SUBJECT YOU'VE ENJOYED STUDYING THIS SEMESTER Hi everyone, as I said before I am studying architecture, I am in second semester and my favorite subject and that I enjoyed is the workshop, In the class we often review the works of my classmates, sometimes we had a short activities in class, like draw sketches or make compositions, the teachers talks about the things are bad or good in the projects, and I think it's difficult have workshop in pandemic time because above all in the early years we experienced with different materiales and we begin understand the different way to see the context where we live and try to traduce our ideas for the models. POST 7: Who is a person on your field that you admire? Hello everyone, I gonna talk about Violeta Parra. she was a singer, songwriter of popular chilean music, specifically focus on folklore, plastic artist and poet. She was born 4th October 1917 in San Carlos, Chile, daughter of countrywoman and her dad was a music teacher. Together with her sisters and brothers start to sing in bars, circus and restaurants. In 1932 her family moved to Santiago, where Violeta assist to 'Escuela Normal', a few years she know her first husband and they had her first son Isabell in 1941. With the time Violeta began to become more famous in Santiago along with her sister Hilda, both were singing on bars or restaurants of the capital like Franklin, Rondizzoni and sometimes in pergola of flowers.
